Going to Thanksgiving dinner, so will give a more full report later.  Really wanted to go sub 60, but I didn't think I would.  Very happy with the result.  Thanksgiving day in AZ is really the perfect weather for a race.

Finished 1491 out of 2947

SexPl 937 out of 1397

DivPl 139 out of 198

Had banked quite a bit of time prior to the long gradual hill up power road.  A little shy of the 5 mile mark I checked my avg pace for the whole race and I was at 29:36.  29:38 was the pace for one hour.  The rest was down hill, but my HR was about 184 and I was having trouble staying under 10mm.  Don't know how I made up 50 seconds over that last mile. Felt like I was getting passed by lots more people than I was passing for the whole race

Half miles Splits (Dist, Time, Pace)

.5      4:50.8     9:41.6  - Started in pretty good place sort of near front.  Not much dodging, but didn't feel I was getting in peoples way.

1.0     4:52.6     9:45.2

1.5     4:39.1     9:18.1

2.0     4:38.0     9:16.1

2.5     4:44.3     9:28.7

3.0     4:50.4     9:40.9

3.5     4:37.7     9:15.5

4.0     4:58.2     9:56.5  This is where the Hill on Power road started

4.5     4:53.6     9:47.2

5.0     4:57.6     9:55.2

5.5     4:47.4     9:34.9  This was the start of the downhill for the rest of the race, but the last little bit

6.0     4:49.4     9:38.9

6.21   1:30.2     7:10.0 Little hill to the finish line.

Avg HR 173 Max HR was 190.  Thought 189 was the highest it ever went.
